Drip Coffee Station
Mastering the Essentials Brewing drip coffee is a simple and efficient method to savor a rich, flavorful cup at home.
Follow these easy steps to perfect the process.

#1 - POUR OVER V60
The V60 pour-over is a popular manual brewing method known for precision and control.
Its V-shaped cone and spiral ridges ensure even extraction, producing a clean, bright cup with a balanced flavor.
Grind: Use medium-coarse grounds. This allows for optimal water flow and extraction.
Coffee-to-Water Ratio: A general rule of thumb is to use 1-2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 oz of water.
Water: Use fresh, filtered water.
Temperature: Brew with water just off the boil at 90–96°C.
Time: Brew for 4 to 6 minutes. Weak coffee means a shorter brew time, while bitterness suggests it brewed too long.
Equipment: Make sure your drip coffee maker or pour-over setup is clean. Any residue can affect the flavor of your brew.
Blooming (Optional for manual drip): When using a manual drip method like pour-over, let the coffee grounds “bloom” by pouring a small amount of hot water over them to release CO2. Wait about 30 seconds before continuing the pour.

#2 - POUR OVER KALITA WAVE (FLAT BOTTOM)
The Kalita Wave is a popular pour-over method with a flat-bottom design and three holes for even extraction, promoting a balanced brew.
Its ridged filters enhance airflow and maintain brewing temperature.

Grind: Use medium-coarse grounds. This allows for optimal water flow and extraction.
Coffee-to-Water Ratio: A general rule of thumb is to use 1-2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 oz of water.
Water + Temperature: Use fresh, filtered water. Brew with water just off the boil at 90–96°C.
Coffee filter: Rinse filter. Place the filter in the Kalita and rinse with hot water to eliminate any paper taste
Bloom: Add just enough water to wet the grounds (around 40g), and let it sit for 30-45 seconds to release CO2.
Time: Brew for 4 to 6 minutes. Weak coffee means a shorter brew time, while bitterness suggests it brewed too long.
First Pour: Slowly pour water in a spiral motion, adding about half the water (200g).
Second Pour: After the water drains, add the remaining water in the same spiral motion.
Total Brew Time: Aim for 3-4 minutes of total brewing time.
French Press Station
The French press is a simple way to brew rich, full-bodied coffee at home. Just steep coarse grounds in hot water for a few minutes to enjoy bold flavors without the need for filters.
Perfect for a hands-on coffee experience!
FRENCH PRESS
The French press is a simple brewing method that steepens coarsely ground beans in hot water, then separates them with a mesh plunger.
It produces a bold, full-bodied cup, preserving natural oils and flavors, perfect for hands-on coffee lovers.

Heat water: with water just off the boil at 93°C.
Grind: Grind coffee beans to a coarse consistency.
Add coffee grounds to the French press (about 1 tablespoon per 4 oz of water).
Pour hot water over the grounds, stirring gently.
Place the lid with the plunger pulled up, and let it steep for 4 minutes.
Slowly press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the coffee.
Serve and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee!
